The Chair Affair
A 3-day class hosted by Unsprung University Friday-Sunday June 27-29, with guest educator Kymm Clark of LullCo. During this workshop, a limited group 8 students will each bring their own chair to fully reupholster, working at their own pace with expert guidance and individualized attention.

Join us for a hands-on upholstery education class where you'll learn the skills to reupholster your own chair! Whether you're looking to breathe new life into a beloved piece of furniture or discover a new craft, this class is perfect for beginners and those with some experience alike. Under the expert guidance of professional upholsterers, you'll learn the step-by-step process of reupholstering your chair—from removing old fabric and padding to applying fresh fabric and finishing touches.
In this small-group workshop, you’ll get personalized instruction and tips to help you tackle every step with confidence. By the end of the class, you'll walk away with a beautifully restored chair and the skills to take on your next upholstery project at home.

The Chair Affair
Tuition includes: the cost of interior materials (foam, Dacron, webbing, springs, etc.), advance personalized instruction with Kymm and Jonathan, advance access to the workshop if you need a space to strip down your piece (dates and times TBD), on-site individualized instruction during class, the use of all tools and materials necessary for success, your own fully equipped personal work station, access to our industry meet-and-greet (5-7pm Thurs. 6/26), daily coffee and light snacks.
